PECK - SUTTON Family Reunion on 17 June 1899

taken at the home of
George McNemer in Reading Center, NY.

The PECK & SUTTON reunion began as a result of the visit of
Tenant PECK's two daughters, Maranda & Eliza, to his home in 1879.
Maranda DAVIDSON lived in McKean Co., PA & Eliza TURK
lived in Joplin, MO.  This reunion was still being held in the
1930s and 1940s, though few attended at that time.

David writes that the Peck family of Schuyler county goes back to William Peck
in Connecticut who had three sons, Jeremiah, Joseph and John.  The
Reading Pecks were descended from Joseph.  Barbara Bush, mother
of President George W. Bush, is descended from John.
