Swan Hill Road Cemetery

This is considered the most up-to-date list which is
kept on file in the local historical society.
 

"This cemetery is difficult to find and is on a seasonal use road.
It is not practical for a stranger to this area to go to.
From Alpine go out Swan Hill Road .7 miles.  This will
be a short distance past a “Connecticut Hill Management” sign.  There
is a parking area on the right side of the road. Park there and walk back
across the road to the northwest side. You have to walk up a steep hill
going back toward Alpine (parallel to the road) for about 150 yards.
At that point the cemetery is to your right on up the hill a short distance.
There are two groups of stones & evidence of graves with no markers.
Visited on 24 Sep 1996 and all stones visible were checked.
Elbridge Fowler & Eliza Rumsey stones were not seen.
