Built by Charles COOK in 1853 as a memorial to his
bride-to-be who died on the eve of their wedding.
Located on
Genesee St. opposite South St., just south of She-Qua-Ga falls.
The house directly north of the church is the birthplace of
David HILL who served as NY State Governor 1855-1891.
The house
directly south of the church was built in 1870 by Elbert COOK as his
home.
